Wade is a registered CA(SA) with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. With over a decade of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. Before joining Funda Wande, he served as a Senior Financial Data Analyst and Head of Debt Collection in Bursaries and Student Fees, where he developed a strong track record in data-informed decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and compliance management.

Wade brings a people-first approach to finance, ensuring that systems and decisions serve the organisation’s broader mission of improving foundational literacy and numeracy in South Africa. He is deeply passionate about making finance human-centred and driving meaningful outcomes that empower communities and foster equitable opportunities through education.

Outside of work, Wade enjoys homebrewing craft beers with his latest success being a Dunkelweizen and exploring new hops and malt combinations. He’s also an avid DIYer, currently plotting the transformation of his garage from a storage cave into a functioning workspace.
