Introducing Sivuyisiwe Kuse (warmly known as Siwe). With over seven years of experience across civil society, academia, and both the public and private sectors, Siwe brings deep insight and interdisciplinary expertise to the work of building a more just and equitable South Africa. As a consultant and researcher, she has contributed to projects spanning Just Energy Transitions, digital rights, LGBTQ+ inclusion, public health, and climate resilience.

Her work has involved collaborations with organisations such as the Centre for Analytics and Behavioural Change, Power Futures Lab, and international partners including The World Bank, WHO, and UNICEF — always championing evidence-based approaches to tackling complex social and environmental challenges.

Outside of her professional work, Siwe is an avid traveler (from the deserts of Namibia to the streets of Berlin), a noodle enthusiast, and the curator of Bad Nihilist, a digital publication fostering community dialogue. if she wasn’t in this current line of work, she would be touring the world with her baritone saxophone.
