Sihle Nontshokweni-Bikitsha is an education researcher and storyteller passionate about awakening curiosity in children through stories. She has led large-scale education initiatives, conducted research on student success, and designed data-driven programs that improve literacy outcomes. With expertise in randomized controlled trials (RCTs), monitoring & evaluation, and policy analysis, she brings a strong analytical grounding to education innovation.
Working on PIRLS research led her to publish childrens books as an intervention, giving birth to the award winning Wanda Childrens Book Series. Her childrens book Fly Afrika Fly, translated into 11 South African languages, reached over 3million children in South Africa for World Read Aloud Day 2021.
Sihle holds two master’s degrees from the University of Cape Town and Peking University, Beijing.
