Introducing Nobuhle Mhlongo as the Lead for Strategic Projects and Partnerships. She is a linguistic specialist and education innovation strategist with extensive experience working across education ecosystems in Sub-Saharan Africa. Her work has centred on supporting EdTech innovators in integrating multilingual content into digital learning platforms and leading impactful projects that strengthen education systems through inclusive and collaborative approaches.
Nobuhle holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing her PhD in Linguistics, with a focus on promoting the equal use of African languages in public domains. Her academic research reflects a deep commitment to linguistic justice and the advancement of African languages, earning her international recognition, including an award from the Sociolinguistics Symposium.
Outside of her professional work, Nobuhle is passionate about wellness, movement, and community. She is a self-declared gym fanatic and enjoys Latin, ballroom, and salsa social dancing. She also loves to travel and is especially fond of island life. In her personal capacity, Nobuhle founded The Writing Squad, a community designed to support postgraduate students navigating academia and research.
